Cheryl and Jay completed the Virgin London Marathon on Sunday 17th April raising thousands of pounds for their respective charities; Cheryl was running for Headfirst, the charity she helped set up following the horrific coach crash Bucks Fizz had back in December 1984 when Mike Nolan sustained serious head injury, and Jay was running for The Alzheimer's Society in memory of her dad, Ted Durante, who suffered from Alzheimer's for ten years before he sadly died.

Well the 30th Anniversary is upon us and the band have not stopped. With Inteviews on 'Loraine' and 'The Alan Titchmarsh Show' and upcoming press including national magazine features, the celebrations are off to a great start. Remember you can catch the band live on 29th and 30th April and 1st May (venues on the live shows page). These dates are in preparation for one of the biggest shows in the bands recent history...a celebration of 30 years of Eurovision at The London Palladium on Monday 11th July. It's going to be a remarkable show so make sure that you book your tickets as soon as possible...on sale from April 1st...and no, it's not an April fools joke!!

Hi guys,

With this being the 30th anniversary of winning the Eurovision Song Contest, we are planning some great gigs and we will let you know as soon as they are confirmed.

Jay and I are currently training for The Virgin London Marathon and will let you know more about that nearer the time.

We have almost finished our first album as The Original Bucks Fizz and hope to have it released this spring.

Well it's the year of the 30th Anniversay of winning the Eurovision Song Contest...surely there must be some mistake as we are still all in our 20's! The Band have quite a few shows lined up so far this year..check the live dates for more info on them. One show that the band are particularly looking forward to is the Rewind Festival in Henley in August. For more info on the Artists and how to get your tickets go to www.rewindfestival.com

I'm sure most of you are aware of the dispute which has been in the news lately regarding the use of the name 'The Original Bucks Fizz' as yet no decision has been made on an outcome but we will keep you posted on any developments.

Hi Guys,

Jay and I will be competing in The Great North Run on 19th September. I'll be running for Headfirst, my fave charity. My just giving web page is here.

Since the release of 'I Hear Talk (live)', which was well received and managed to get air time on 'This Morning' and 'The National Lottery' (both of which now appear on the fizz tv section), the band have been busy playing various shows and working hard to complete the new album which is coming along very well .....we'll keep you posted on a release date. They also have an exciting project in the works...again we'll keep you posted. They are also making plans for the 30th anniversary next year! So plenty of things coming up, check back for more updates soon. Also released last month was the much anticipated 'Bucks Fizz - In Their Own Words' DVD...you can still get your copy here.

May 2010

The band release their first single as The Original Bucks Fizz, a reworking of the classic 'I Hear Talk'. Recorded live on the splash tour in 2009 along with the new video. The single is available as a download only from Monday 24th May along with the B-side 'Everlasting Love Live' written by our very own Jay Aston! They have TV appearances on 'This Morning' on Friday 28th May, The National Lottery on Saturday 29th May and appear in the Justin Lee Collins show Road to Eurovision (airdate tbc) when he arrives at a band rehearsal to get their advice on winning Eurovision!

The band are having a well deserved rest over Christmas, but will be back to work in January 2010, with the possibility of a new tour, new album and their first Live DVD. Bucks Fizz platinum album release on Monday 16th November 2009.

Now that the Splash tour is complete, the band are working hard on the one off show at Newcastle City Hall on the 12th December 2009. It's the 25th anniversary of the 1984 coach crash where Mike Nolan nearly lost his life. See the homepage for ticket details for this very special show.

September 2009

The band are busy rehearsing for the Splash tour in October and spent yesterday doing radio interviews all day, more promotion is planned over the coming weeks. The tour merchandise is pretty much finalised and an exclusive preview of the front cover of the tour programme can be seen below (check out the new official logo!). For those who can't make the tour (hope there are not too many of you!!) the merchandise will eventually be available to buy on this site.

Fizz TV is Launched with the G.A.Y show including backstage interview and live clips.

The show at G.A.Y on the 16th was a massive success and a great launch for the all new Original Bucks Fizz. They did plenty of TV and Radio in the run up to Eurovision.
